When police officer Aaron Bulmer responded to reports of an armed robbery in Topeka, Kansas, he had no idea that he'd end up saving a little boy's life! The four-year-old old child, who is autistic, had walked out of his parents' home without them noticing and was heading to a local park when Bulmer saw him in his patrol car. When he got out of the vehicle and began approaching him, the little boy fell into a pond and couldn't keep his head above the water. That's when Bulmer ran to rescue him -- and the whole thing was recorded on his body camera. Watch the officer jump into action to save the little boy from drowning below. I'm so glad he was there to help!

Are These White Shapes Moving On A Black Background Or The Opposite? You Decide

Optical illusions have always fascinated me. As a kid, I loved looking at the images we were given in school, trying to tilt them different ways to see as much as I could before giving the teacher an answer to the question, "What do you see?" On paper, it's much easier to decipher exactly what's going on in an illusion, but the internet has given rise to a new generation of animated mind puzzles, and they're not so easy to figure out. Take this one, for instance. Are these shapes white and moving on a black background or black and moving on a white background? This one has you staring for awhile, but you'll be seeing things when you're finally instructed to look away. Can't get enough? Check out this video of swirling illusions that will have you questioning everything. Can't get enough? Check out this video of swirling illusions that will have you questioning everything.

Jane Goodall Saved This Chimp's Life. Watch What Happened When They Said Goodbye

Jane Goodall has dedicated her life to studying the interactions and behaviors of the world’s many primates. It’s no surprise that in her decades of experience, she has become a lead expert on chimpanzees. Among her many accomplishments working as a conservationist and animal welfare advocate, Goodall founded the Jane Goodall Institute in 1977. But perhaps her crowning achievement was the creation of the Tchimpounga Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Center located in the Republic of the Congo. Over the years, Goodall and her team have been able to rescue more than 160 chimps. But as their facilities quickly began to fill up, she and her staff knew they had to expand the sanctuary. In doing so, they added a facility on Tchindzoulou Island. That's where she made a forever friend. Wounda the chimp was near death when she was taken in by the rehabilitation center. As the years progressed, Wounda was able to heal and learn to overcome adversity, so much so that Goodall and he

This Is The Touching Reason Why One Janitor Loves Going To Work Every Day

School custodial staffers are some of the most undervalued people working today. Without them, our kiddos would go to school in terrible conditions, and far too often, they aren't paid enough and are looked down upon. Being a janitor or custodian is hard work and it involves dealing with some of the most unpleasant aspects of life. In a school setting with unpredictable kids, this can be an especially difficult job. I don't think anyone would question it if a custodian wanted to complain about the puke or other bodily fluids they have to put up with on a daily basis, but one janitor wants the world to know why he actually loves his job. One of the students Harry sees every day asked him how he can deal with the grosser aspects of his work, and he had the perfect answer for her. The full text of his post is so inspiring. He writes: My name is Harry, I'm the Head Custodian at an elementary school in St. Louis, MO. This is the conversation I recently had with a six

Trump fears 'major, major conflict' with North Korea

Gambar
US President Donald Trump has said he would like to solve the North Korea crisis diplomatically, but that a "major, major conflict" is possible. China's foreign minister called for negotiation and dialogue. The UN Security Council is meeting to discuss North Korea on Friday and will consider further measures to counter its nuclear and missile programmes. The country has made several military shows of strength in recent weeks but a missile it was testing failed. America sent warships to the region and began installing a controversial anti-missile system in South Korea earlier this week. US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Washington would negotiate with North Korea with a view to removing nuclear weapons from the country, not changing the government. He told NPR radio in the US: "We do not seek regime change, we do not seek a collapse of the regime, we do not seek an accelerated reunification of the peninsula. "We seek a denuclearised Korean
